I interviewed Laurent Wolf at the beginning of the week! Extremely cool person.  For as big as his remix/dj status, he is extremely humble. He has a new album on Sony Music called “Wash My World.” The song playing in the background is Laurent’s Extended Mix of the title track.

Here is the main portion of the interview. I will post the extended version, which includes some interesting responses to the question of how music piracy effects his career.

I interviewed the legendary Frankie Knuckles (again) for the Def Mix Radio Show. I think ‘legendary’ should refer to how nice, personable, and open he is. This is true of the entire Def Mix family.

Since his return to the music scene this year, he has been extremely busy with dj tour dates, music production, and music mentor-ship (listen to the interview).

This week I got interview Max Graham! On the radio show, the interview has been edited to the essential 2 minutes. This was done to keep the flow of the show relatively up beat. In the past, I’ve received emails stating that the interviews were too long or sometimes, not long enough. In the interest of pleasing everyone, I will post the full interviews in the blog. Which brings me back to Max Graham.

I’ve been a fan of his production work, since I first heard his track “Can’t Let You Go” on Curvve Recordings many years ago. Since then, plenty of Max’s tracks have found their way into my (digital) dj crate, and I always look forward to his latest releases on his label Re:Brand.

Max Graham has a new double CD release called, “Cycles.” It’s great blend of different styles of house music, and doesn’t fail to keep you entertained. Max Graham will be djing here in Miami this weekend August 2nd at Nocturnal.
